How To Find The Right Digital Mix For Your Business

Every business owner is advised to get involved in one form of digital marketing or the other for their business, but knowing the right kind of mix for your business is very important.

It’s imperative to state here that not all business requires an online presence especially when your customers are never online. But when yours requires one, what is the best mix for your business?

There are several mixes of online digital measures that can actually be the best fit for your business. Let’s look into some of them;

There is the Search Engine Marketing where you try to optimize your business website so that it ranks in the first page of popular search engines like Google and Yahoo. So basically what you want from this is that when someone searches for a keyword/niche related to your business like Event Planner, Fashion Designer, or Construction Company you want your business website to show up.

These is very helpful when you have a low competition business and your website is search engine optimize. But it’s very odd to see a business with a keyword/niche that’s not saturated already so if you wish to use this measure for your business be ready to do a lot of optimization for your site or just buy Google or Yahoo advert space which could be very expensive or you could just seek the help of an Online advertisement network like AdverBusiness.

Secondly, there is Email Marketing, where you advertise your product and services to a bunch of people through their email address. These email addresses can either be bought or sought. Several bulk email vendor site exist online were you can get a number of email addresses for an amount, this can be very ineffective if you need to target a certain category of people to market to, as this bought emails are generally uncategorised. A sought email is where you have a Signup or a Subscribe Me form on your website or Blog were people who visit your website or blog can sign up or subscribe to your newsletter with their email.

Basically this measure is great for keeping in-touch with old customers and not particularly efficient for new ones. You can introduce your new product or service to your customer through this medium or give tips and advice on issue relating to your brand, keyword or niche.

Thirdly, there is the Mobile Device Advertisement. Just like the email marketing this can either be bought or sought. And the same disadvantage also applies, you can buy millions of phones numbers and spend ridiculous amount of money to send bulk SMS only to piss off more than half of your list cause they already got a text like that from someone else trying to sell thing to them that are no interest.

I get text like that a lot and it’s annoying. So if you don’t want to want time and money, use this measure for only your sought customers cause if they visited your site or blog and they gave you their email and phone number, they are probably interested in your business.

Next, there is the Online Classified Ads. Just like how people buy advertisement space on TV, radio, newspaper and billboards, you can also have your site on other people’s website or blog and some of this site may let you post for free like Olx, Vconnect etc.

Though this might sound good but you need to understand what your goal is. Why will you want to place advert on any site? If it’s because you want to get customers from there, then I wonder why people will place an advert on a sport website when they have a business that’s about fashion, all because it’s free to place advert there. So know this, advertisement can be cheap but getting customers is never cheap. You can do things the right way if you just have the right tool and knowledge. And that’s what we can offer at AdverBusiness.

Last but not the least is Social Media Advertisement. Many are already in love with this measure but only few can use it effectively for their business. There are so many; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, just to name a few, that can be monetize or should I say customer-tise for business.

Any business owner with a wide category of customer-base should own one social media platform or the other, you might be surprised that most businesses already are on all social media platform. That’s how much love they have for this measure. Although they have the right tool but they lack knowledge on how to use it, am not talking about how to navigate through these sites but how to use them efficiently to promote your business.

For someone who owns a fashion venture, or a business that has to do with visuals, then a platform like instagram is more preferable than twitter. You want people to have a visual appreciation of your product or services then you go with platforms that allows for that.

Twitter is quite effective for people who can play with words, cause of the restriction on the number of words. You need to be very creative with words to spark an interest. If you don’t know how to do this then it’s best to hire “someone” who can.

Facebook is still the widest platform to get customers, but you don’t just get them by just creating a facebook page, facebook has a far greater reach than your friends or friends of your friend. If you want thousands and millions of followers that only huge celebrities have, then you need to only do one thing, Advertise with AdverBusiness.
